A day in the life of two kids in Santa Paula, CA in 2045
Santa Paula in 2045
Today, as a semi-rural, small town, Santa Paula’s connections to other towns and cities relies almost entirely on personal car ownership. Without a car, Santa Paula residents’ employment opportunities are very limited. Children’s activities are also too dependent on a parent’s car, the alternatives being scarce and unsafe. We envision a thriving future for Santa Paula where residents have easy access to responsive on-demand mobility options in addition to cars, bikes, and pedestrian options.
In partnership with UCLA’s Luskin School of Policy Mobility Lab and other emerging partners, we will be tracking the many positive outcomes that this 2045 vision of a better mobility future in Santa Paula will actually lead to.
